Lakeside Shopping Center is a tax free shopping zone for international visitors.You can simply show your passport and travel documents at the time of purchase and the retailer will issue a voucher for the amount of sales tax. You can redeem the vouchers for cash at the airport as you leave the city.

Lakeside Shopping Center is one of New Orleans most exciting retail malls featuring over 120 stores and boutiques, a variety of resturants, a postal sub station and lots more.

The mall is open 10am-9pm Daily and Noon-6pm on Sunday which may vary during holidays.
You can get gift certificates from over 120 stores purchasable with your ATM, credit or debit card at the Hibernia Bank machines in the mall or at the Customer Service Center by check, credit card or cash.

They also have WellWalkers club with nearly 3000 members. Lakeside Shopping Center also offers exercise classes every morning under the Veterans Skylight. There is a one time registration fee of $10.00 and a $1.00 charge for each class you attend. All payments should be made directly to the instructors

this is the kind of store you can spend hours wandering through. Marshalls mostly specializes in clothing that has just left the big stores, and frankly the more out of season it is, the cheaper it gets. You can often find clearance, name-brand clothes for a tenth of what they were six months ago. Home fashions, gift ideas and kid wear gets the same bargain-priced treatment.

Mervyn's
This West Coast-based department store sells up-to-date home and apparel fashions for less than you might normally find elsewhere. Names like Levi's, Nike, Dockers, Jockey and Olga fill out the racks alongside the store's own brands for men and women, like Hillard & Hanson and Ellemenno.
