On the streets of Big Easy!

So now that you are inside the mainstream of New Orleans get ready for some pleasure. There are various transportation services that ply around the city.

  Streetcars

The most feasible and inexpensive mode of sightseeing is the good old streetcars (not cables-not trams but only streetcars). They are the oldest streetcar services of the planet and very cheap as well, the fare ranging $1-2, although exact change is necessary and not experimental to your pocket. These streetcars carry out their services through various streets of the city and it is best considered way to have the glimpse of New Orleans.

  Public Buses

It is the carefree way of strolling around the city. Since the buses take time and longer route to communicate one place to another, you have to wait a bit extra. Otherwise this is widely used by local folks and remains busy during peak hours. The fare is round about $1.25 varying according to the distance.
